Geophysical & Archaeological Investigation

Locating Grave Sites and Forensic Investigation

Taylor’s Structural Imaging, LLC uses Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to perform geophysical surveys for locating grave sites and detecting archaeological forensic targets. Our surveys can locate burial sites from ancient times up to recent burials. We can locate unmarked graves, determine the relationship between grave locations and their headstones, and survey the location of empty but pre-sold burial sites. GPR is non-destructive, preserving the cemetery and graves for future generations.

Police Investigations

We also use GPR to locate buried bodies and other below ground forensic evidence. Because GPR is non-destructive, it is the ideal tool to use when it’s impractical to dig or when damaging property is undesirable. We can accurately image walls, floors, ceilings, below ground, and under concrete and asphalt. Because GPR is portable and fast, its cost can be considerably less than other investigation methods. When required we can also provide law enforcement with any reports with regard to their investigation.
